POSITION: Chief Technology Officer – Sr. Software Engineer

LOCATION:  Louisville, KY

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Working with co-founders to bring new software to market.

-Contributing to the architecture and design of our product features and capabilities.

-Participate in Scrum work environment to deliver software to meet requirements.

-Research new tools and technologies for use within the team and software products.

-Write code, troubleshoot code defects, and deploy timely fixes.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

-5+ years of daily development experience.

-Distinguished knowledge in PHP, CakePHP, JavaScript, C#, C, C++, WordPress, Flash, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, iOS, HTML, iHTML, CSS, MS SQL, MySQL, UX, API, Payment Gateways.

-Extensive experience with API integration, Payment gateways, and WordPress a must.

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Work experience will be considered.

-Excellent communication skills.

-Excellent analytical skills.

 

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

-Experience working with large data and payment gateways is a plus.

-Experience with API integration.

-Experience with data visualization and data representation.

-Experience with eCommerce and marketplaces.

-Experience with frontend and backend development.

-Experience and a strong understanding of UX and UI.

-Experience in distributed computing.

-Experience in mobile applications.

-Strong background in computer science with an emphasis in mathematics and formal logic.

-Experience with REST services.

-Entrepreneurial attitude and mindset is a must.

-Experience and passion for the outdoors desired, but not required.
